What a wonderful performance. You are a great story teller, poet, and song writer. My 4th and 5th graders watched the performance and were completely engaged. At the end of the day I had some boys come and sing one of the songs that you performed. Wow, that says a lot. The students really enjoyed the experience. As an educator, I loved how you shared the process you use to write your poems and songs. I am sure I will have some poets sprout from the experence. Thank you so much for sharing your morning with us. I would recommend this program to anyone.

Wonderful job at Redding Elementary School! You definitely touched on my era and it was totally engaging to hear your stories. Your poems were real and allowed our students to see that they could write about simple daily experiences and entertain people with those poems. My students were totally engaged and I truly appreciated you taking the time to come and share your gifts with us. God has certainly blessed you with the gifts of creativity and song and opened opportunities to share and influence children with your talents. Again, thank you for being willing to come and share with us. You get my recommendation!

Of course, another killer show by my friend, Neil Brewer. Neil and I go back a number of years and he just gets better and better. I appreciate the poem about my twin sister and myself. The Redding 4th and 5th graders and their teachers are still talking about Neil’s performance. SO glad to finally have my kids see Neil in action. They have heard me talk about him and his writing for a long time.

Simply stated, Neil Brewer delivers one of the best convocations a school can find anywhere! One for all ages – students and adults. I have seen him do shows for elementary kids, middle school students and retired teachers – always has his audience in his pocket.

We look forward to a return engagement in the future.

Hey there Mr. Brewer! You are a very talented poet, singer, guitar player, etc. I enjoyed your enthusiasm and charisma that you brought forth with your creative pieces today! As most people have said in previous reviews, I enjoyed the 3 kids in the car and the baking soda submarine! My favorite was definitely “She’s standing there” though. It’s exactly like that at all school dances. Haha. :) ) I loved how you related the movement of your feet towards the girl to growing hair and cemented feet. Very cute!

    Your friend,
    Abby Dilk

Sure enjoyed your benefit performance at Bunbury on July 18th. What an enjoyable and entertaining night. I identified with a lot of the things, especially the RFs and the cigar box. That was the brand my dear old dad smoked and the cigar boxes were plentiful back in those days. Thanks again. Hope to see you again at Bunbury.

Hello Mr. Brewer! You may remember me, I am one of your former students. I just wanted to say that you were a great teacher and I had a lot of fun in your class. Looking back, I loved everything from rockets, Harmen Bidwell and Bill Nye The Science guy! I wish you the best of luck with your new material. I’m sure it is great!
